Micks Branded pies established in 1990 have grown to
become one of the most recognised baking brands
throughout the Australian baking industry. The business has
produced, innovated and created some of the best bakery
products in Australia for over 26 years and continues to work
closely with clientele to produce innovative products to suit
current trends and its consumers.
The original brand Micks Bakehouse was success story of
Michael Di Salvatore who, at the age of fourteen, started
helping out in the bakery in his parent’s supermarket in
Leeton, a country town based in regional New South Wales,
where his passion for baking quickly developed.
Michael went on to develop his skills and continued to enter
baking competitions, and in 1998 won First Place in the
Sydney Royal Champion Pie event for his plain meat pie.
Since then, Mick’s Branded Pies has been the most
distinguished competitor in two of Australia’s most
prestigious bakery competitions, “The Great Aussie Pie
Competition” and the “Sydney Royal Fine Food Show”.
